Controls:<\/strong>
On\/Off = battery door open, battery door closed
Reset settings = open and close battery door
Volume raise = right button\/red hearing aid marking
Volume lower = left button\/blue hearing aid marking
Volume changes = quick press
Program changes = press and hold for 2 seconds and let go<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Troubleshooting:<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n

  1. Check for ear wax in the dome or earmold<\/li>
  2. Change the battery<\/li>
  3. Replace the wax filter<\/li>
  4. Brush the microphone cover<\/li>
  5. Dry out the hearing aid in a hearing aid humidifier kit<\/li><\/ol>\n\n\n\n

    Safety:<\/strong>
    Do not leave your hearing aids or batteries out where pets or small children could take them and eat them.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

    Do not submerge your hearing aids in water.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

    Do not wear hearing aids when around hazardous noise levels.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

    Use hearing protection for loud noise such as firearms or power tools.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

    Tips for cleaning:<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n

    1. Clean or replace the done; clean the ear mold<\/li>
    2. Clean or replace the wax filter<\/li>
    3. Brush the microphone covers<\/li>
    4. Wipe off the hearing aid<\/li><\/ol>\n\n\n\n

      Auditory<\/strong> Indicators for repairs:<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n

      1. Muffled or distorted sound<\/li>
      2. Sound or volume that cuts in and out<\/li>
      3. Excessive squealing (microphone feedback) with no amplification<\/li>
      4. Static<\/li><\/ol>\n\n\n\n

        Visual Indicators for repairs:<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n

        1. Check for signs of moisture in the tubing or in the battery door.<\/li>
        2. Check for physical defects like cracked hearing aid casing, cracked or split earmold tubing or missing pieces<\/li><\/ol>\n\n\n\n

          Other Indicators:<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n

          1. Excessive battery drain<\/li>
          2. Pain or discomfort in the ear<\/li><\/ol>\n\n\n\n
